South Asian Bridal Couture Collections and Creatives presented at O’nitaa Bridal Showcase Preview
One of the UK’s leading South Asian fashion influencers and tastemakers, O’nitaa, hosted an exclusive preview of high end bridal and accessory collections and creatives at O’nitaa Bridal Showcase Preview on Friday 27th November at O’nitaa, Marylebone, London.
O’nitaa is an internationally famous, multi-designer store that represents designers who embody the finest South Asia has to offer today, appreciated by admirers and collectors alike. Showcasing the works of fashion talents from Zaheer Abbas and Mina Hasan to Maheen Khan and Rana Noman, O’nitaa Bridal Showcase highlighted bridal and couture collections from the leading fashion houses of South Asia.
Luxe jewellery label, Red Dot Jewels, presented its sumptuous White Mughals collection at the event. The 2016 collection, inspired by the 2002 history book by William Dalrymple, embodies the brand’s love affair between the ancient heritage and craftsmanship of the Indian subcontinent and the western aesthetics that the modern Asian woman seeks.
O’nitaa Bridal Showcase also welcomed darling of the Asian beauty industry, Ambreen, whose ever-evolving makeup styles have beautified brides globally. Her training masterclasses have become a must for aspiring makeup artists across the country. From international stars such as Kanika Kapoor and Fawad Khan to supermodels such as Mehreen Syed, she continues to create a stir with her flawless skills. Additionally, The Henna Artist (Chan Sagoo) presented her unique, henna artwork – original designs from the contemporary to innovative twists on traditional and vintage looks, often incorporating influences such as Aztec. The evening was complemented by sumptuous hospitality courtesy of Brilliant.
