Fashion Pakistan Week 2014: Shamaeel Ansari Show
Her new line The Tughra or Royal Seal has been inspired by patterns of Turkish Royal Iznik tiles and foucuses on separate coordinates and accessories. Dedicated to the mantra of having fun with fashion, the separates include jumpsuits, jackets, dresses, shorts and shirts in lightweight crepes and silks, that have all been embroidered or boldly accented.
“I wanted to create a line that was very fashionable but wearable at the same time. These days nobody has time anymore and it’s important to have a wardrobe that moves easily from day to night. I was inspired by the concept of street chic and used my own life as an example – some days I need outfits that allow me to rush from meetings straight to evening events. We also used pure breathable fabrics that feel amazing to wear.” Zainab Chottani
