Bollywood’s Ankit Tiwari perform’s live at Theatre Royal in Nottingham!
Top Bollywood stars are set to appear live at the Nottingham Royal Concert Hall on Friday July 31. Generation Next Live in Concert, is the latest concert promoted by Jays Entertainment and stars chart topping Bollywood Indian music singers Ankit Tiwari, Shilpa Rao and Mohammed Irfan. Judging by previous concerts, it is guaranteed to be a sell out success.
Ankit Tiwari is one of the best known Indian music performers, winning all major awards for Best Singer and Composer in both 2014 and 2015. His song ‘Galliyan’ from Ek Villain led reviewers to comment “Tiwari’s music and voice adds the required finesse tin this son and what he has made darn great”. Other recent songs have included three tracks for the film Roy: ‘Tu Hai Ki Nahi”, ‘Yaara Re’ and “Boond Boo’.
Shilpa Rao is a well-known Bollywood film musician singing in films such as The Train, Gulal, Anwar and A Tribute to Love. She has been described as one of the most prominent Bollywood singers. Her most famous song is the chart busting ‘Meherbaan’. Shilpa Rao has appeared on Indian Idol Junior and recently sang the beautiful ‘Manmariziyan’ track for the film Lootera.
Mohammed Irfan has collaborated with many well known Asian music directors like Jeet Ganguly, Meet Bros Anjjan, and Sajid-Wajid. His hit songs include ‘Baarish’ from Yaariyan, ‘Muskurane’ from Citylights and ‘Banjaara’ from Ek Villain.
Generation Next Live in Concert is the latest in a stream of live concerts promoted by Jay’s Entertainment. Owned by entrepreneur and music promoter Jayesh Kotak, Jay’s Entertainment seeks to bring the best of the South Asian arts industry including singers, musicians, Bollywood actors, comedians to UK audiences. Previous venues for have included sell out concerts at the NEC Arena, Birmingham. Jays Entertainment has organised concerts for artists such as Shreya Goshal, Jay Sean, Johnny Lever, Paresh Rawal, Dino Morea and Atif Aslam.
