Adele confirms this may be her last ever tour in handwritten note to fans
Wrapping up 15 months on the road, closing with a series of gigs in London and now confirming this maybe her last tour?
In a handwritten letter shared on Instagram, Adele told fans touring ‘doesn’t suit me particularly well’ and that ‘I only ever did this tour for you.’
She said being a homebody makes touring difficult, and that she’s not sure she’ll ever tour again.
Let’s face it, being a mum, a wife, a daughter can make life busy.
However, she offered a ray of hope by signing off ‘Goodnight, for now.’
The note reads: ‘So this is it after 15 months on the road and 18 months of 25 we are at the end. We have taken this tour across UK + Ireland, throughout Europe, all over America and I finally got to go to Australia and New Zealand too.
‘Touring is a peculiar thing, it doesn’t suit me particularly well. I’m a real homebody and I get so much joy in the small things. Plus I’m dramatic and have a terrible history of touring. Until now that is!
Adele’s final gig – part of a series called The Finale, which may have given a hint – takes place at Wembley SSE Arena on July 2
